Florida's Saltwater Fishing Regulations


The following links should keep you up-to-date with Florida's constantly changing fishing regulations. Be sure you book mark these sites and check them monthly for changes. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, but if you don't have it, you can get the download free from either the state or federal site.

Florida state waters - 3 mile off the beach on the Atlantic side and 9 miles off the beach on the Gulf side:

For other states, you will need to find the Fish and Wildlife site for the state you are interested in and look there.

Federal waters, on the Atlantic side extend from 3 miles out to the 200 mile limit and on the Gulf side from 9 miles out to the 200 mile limit.
